Hull panels

Each Sunwake hull is built from four flat plywood strakes per side, stitched and glued at two working chines, a boot seam and the keel. This viewer shows those panels as 3D surfaces with every seam drawn, and shows the 1:15 scale-model assembly with its bow and stern end pieces. The geometry is the source-controlled asset the design review accepted — the page verifies its hash before showing it.

Uncertainty
The lines are unfrozen (SW-LP01 Rev 0a, preliminary). The asset reproduces the faired ruled surface defined by offsets.py; it carries the uncertainty of that surface and adds only float32 rounding and the chord sagitta stated above. It is not a developed-panel model and says nothing about plywood forming, scantlings or stability.

Preliminary — not for construction. Preliminary visualization of the SW-LP01 Rev 0a lines for design development. Not a construction drawing, not a cut file, not approved for construction, and no statement of stability or seaworthiness.

How the flat panels make the hull

Stitch-and-glue construction bends flat plywood panels into a hull and locks them with epoxy fillets and glass tape. The shape therefore lives entirely in the panel edges: the keel, the two working chines, the boot seam and the sheer. In the full-size hulls scene you see all eight panels of each demihull as the developable surfaces the lines plan defines, with those seams drawn as persistent lines at every camera angle. Hover or focus a panel in the legend to highlight it; untick it to look inside, or press only to isolate it.

The full-size scene ends at station 0 and station 10 because the source defines the spoon stem, the stern platforms and the transom in profile only — they are honestly absent rather than invented. The hull explorer shows the same surface as live sections and waterlines.

The 1:15 model assembly

The 1:15 model assembly scene adds the accepted SW15-ENDS R0 bow and stern pieces to one demihull of the scale model: the spoon-stem block with its tongue, four stern run-out skins per side, four backing strips per side, the transom, the platform sole and the trailing-edge plate. The backing strips and the stem-block tongue sit hidden inside the skins — drag the Explode slider to move every part away from the centre without changing its shape, or press Isolate hidden parts to see only them. These are model-scale assembly details for the 1:15 build; they are not full-size construction details.

One recorded defect is shown as accepted. The 834 interpenetrations the asset reports come from the accepted SW15-ENDS R0 backing strips: adjacent strips overlap at every chine, the two bottom strips overlap at the keel, and the topside strip passes through the sole and transom plates aft of station 10. The record defines no mitre, notch or trim for these yet. This page reproduces the record as accepted — the fix belongs to a future SW15-ENDS R1, not to website code.
